Eight censuses have so far been published covering Sheepscombe
for the years 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911.

There are also lists for all census years alphabetically arranged by surnames: A-C, D-G, H-M, N-R, S-T and U-Z.
Two further spreadsheets contains transcriptions of the Sheepscombe School Admissions Register 1873-1911
and of the Parish Registers of Baptisms, Marriages and Burials.

These sources cannot always be regarded as completely accurate,
as they are prone to error both in the originals and in subsequent transcriptions.
